Proof of Concept Harness Designs
Designed over ten proof of concept harnesses for the electrical installation assembly of the Medium Wheel Loader product line using CREO. Ensured proper assembly and routing to production drawings while assessing hardware and harness durability.
Finite Element Analysis
Conducted finite element analysis through ANSYS on hardware designs to verify structural integrity and durability for harness routings. This analysis helped reduce unnecessary parts, unlocking significant cost savings.
Collision Avoidance Harness Kit Development
Developed a third-party collision avoidance harness kit to meet South African regulations, which required the integration of front and back camera sensors. This included creating detailed drawings, circuit schematics, and conducting quality testing.
Accessory Design for Front Lights
Designed a new accessory for Medium Wheel Loaders' front lights with angle-adjustable features to improve driver visibility by 10%. This project utilized CAD modeling and optimized 3D printing techniques to meet driver preferences.

Gained hands-on experience in CAD design, particularly with CREO Parametric, and advanced my skills in finite element analysis using ANSYS.
Enhanced my understanding of cost assessment and built-in quality testing procedures.
